2. Strengthenable: The strength of pure aluminum plate can be enhanced by more than one time through cold processing. At the same time, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, silicon, lithium, scandium and other elements can also be added for alloying, and then further strengthened by heat treatment. After such strengthening process, its strength can be comparable to that of high-quality alloy steel.

3. Easy processing: pure aluminum plate has good aluminum plasticity, which can be rolled into thin sheets and foils, drawn into pipes and filaments, or extruded into various civil profiles. In addition, the pure aluminum plate can be used for turning, milling, boring, planing and other mechanical processing, which is suitable for most machine tool processing conditions.

4. Corrosion resistance: there is a protective film on the surface of pure aluminum plate, which will be damaged only under the intense action of halogen ions or alkali ions. Therefore, aluminum has good corrosion resistance and water corrosion resistance, and can resist the corrosion of most acids and organic substances.

5. No low-temperature brittleness: the performance of pure aluminum plate will not decline at a lower temperature. Because the strength and plasticity of aluminum increase inversely with the decrease of temperature.

6. Good conductivity and thermal conductivity: aluminum is inferior to silver, copper and gold in conductivity and thermal conductivity.

7. Strong reflectivity: the aluminum on the surface of pure aluminum plate has a reflectivity of more than 80% to white light. If the purity of pure aluminum plate is higher, the reflectivity will be higher. At the same time, aluminum has good reflective performance to infrared ray, ultraviolet ray, electromagnetic wave, thermal radiation, etc.
